Issa is licensed as a MLO, however, her business goals currently do not include originating loans; instead, she wants to assist loan officers with her strengths in compliance and document control so that they can better serve their customers and increase their revenue by securing more business.  Issa wants to become the premier liaison between loan officer, borrower, lender, brokerage firm and title & escrow company by providing world class customer service for all.

Issa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Major in Accounting, she has 20+ years of experience as a controller, mostly in multinational corporations.  While working in corporate America, she developed disciplines that enabled her to manage large accounting departments, engage with managers to synergize skills and maximize profits, grow the business and lead and mentor a group of individuals in order to achieve the corporate goals.  Issa would actively engage in audits, so from that perspective, she developed a certain set of skills necessary to navigate intricate compliance regulations and clearly understands what regulators might be looking for in any industry; one might say she has a very keen sense to make sure everthing is done right and on time.

Issa started looking into the mortgage loan industry and surrounded herself with very knowledgable, experienced industry professionals who mentored her and advised her; which lead to her obtaining her license as a Mortgage Loan Originator.  She attended the required SAFE Act class and drove her professor to madness engaging him and asking him all sorts of intricate questions (if you know Issa you know she read the book cover to cover before attending the class).  Issa passed the National Test with Uniform State Content, and the Florida State Test Component, back to back, on the first try.  She immediately contacted her professor to thank him and he expressed he was truly impressed with her discipline and study habits; they have kept in touch ever since.

Issa is an energetic, proactive professional with a reputation as a doer.  She has been very successful throughout her career because of her drive to get things done right and on time.  She is a goal oriented, hands on manager; she is dynamic and learns fast, those elements combined with her strong desire to succeed, have made her a successful professional in the mortgage loan industry.  Issa is 100% fluent in Spanish, having been born and raised in her beloved island of Puerto Rico.

Issa is very passionate about adopting shelter pets and spends her spare time volunteering for local rescue groups.  A percentage of the proceeds from this business will go on to support shelter pets and local animal advocacy groups.  #AdoptDontShop #SpayAndNeuter
